The SEO pumped storage power plant in Vianden has been one of the main attractions in north-east Luxembourg for decades. The natural conditions of the Our Valley have made it possible to build a pumped storage power plant that can store surplus energy and produce energy that is lacking.

With a total capacity of 1,300 MW, the PSW is one of the largest in Europe.

The visitor tunnel in the power plant is currently closed. However, guided tours are possible by prior arrangement. Please use the registration form provided for this purpose.

The visitor platform at the upper reservoir is still open and can be visited without prior registration.

Opening times

Every day 10 à 16 heures
From Easter to September 10 à 18 heures

In general, the visit lasts 2 hours (film, visit gallery, underground power station, possibly upper basin with bus/ own car).

Guided tours for groups (min. 10 people) are only possible upon written request and at least two weeks in advance.
